Abya is built with privacy as a core principle. We believe your mental training practice is personal, and your data should stay that way.

What we don't collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

• Your phrase (it stays on your device)
• Your rep history or progress data
• Personal identification information
• Browsing activity or behavior

What stays on your device

All Abya data is stored locally using Chrome's storage API:

• Your chosen phrase
• Daily rep counts
• Reminder times
• Settings and preferences
• 7-day history

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly clear it.

Optional email collection

During onboarding, you may optionally provide your email address. If provided, we use it only to:

• Send occasional progress check-ins
• Notify you of important updates

You can skip this step entirely. We never sell or share email addresses.

Analytics

We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage data to improve the product, such as:

• Number of active users
• Feature usage patterns
• Error reports

This data is never tied to your identity or your phrase content.

Third-party services

Abya may use privacy-respecting analytics services. We do not use advertising networks or sell data to third parties.

Data deletion

You can delete all your data at any time by:

• Using the "Clear All Data" button in Settings
• Uninstalling the extension
